AVL-TKS-55 is Aviation Laboratories TKS anti-icing/de-icing fluid supplied in a 55-gallon drum. It is intended for use in aircraft equipped with TKS fluid ice-protection systems, subject to the applicable aircraft maintenance documentation and operating procedures.

According to Aviation Laboratories, AVL TKS Fluid meets AL-5 DTD406B and AMS 1424B requirements and is approved by British Aerospace. The fluid is filtered to 1 micron and is subject to quality-control testing before and after blending, with certificate of analysis and lot control.
