Meguiar's DA Backing Plate 5 in, manufacturer part number DBP5, is designed for use with dual-action polishers during sanding and finishing work.

The backing plate distributes pressure evenly to support smoother results. Its tuned outer edges help discs contour across flat and curved surfaces, while the rotation-indicator marking provides a visual reference of backing-plate rotation during use.
