PPG Proseal PR-1776M B-2 Low Weight Fuel Tank Sealant - Quart Kit

PPG PR-1776M B-2 is a low-weight, two-part, manganese dioxide-cured PERMAPOL® P-5 modified polysulphide sealant for aircraft integral fuel-tank and fuselage fillet-sealing applications. This quart kit is identified by manufacturer part number PR-1776M B-2.

The uncured material is a low-sag, thixotropic paste suitable for application by extrusion gun or spatula. It cures at room temperature to form a resilient sealant with adhesion to common aircraft substrates.

• Low-density fuel-tank sealant designed to provide up to 20% weight saving by volume versus traditional sealants
• For fillet sealing of fuel tanks and other aircraft fuselage sealing applications
• Service temperature range: -54°C to +121°C, with limited excursions up to +182°C
• Cured sealant retains elastomeric properties after prolonged exposure to jet fuel and aviation gasoline
• Resists limited contact with phosphate-ester-based hydraulic fluids
