BONDERITE M-CR 1201 AERO, formerly known as Alodine 1201, is a chromate conversion coating for aluminium surface preparation. Supplied in a quart container (approximately 0.95 L), it is intended to leave a visible golden conversion coating following treatment.

After suitable precleaning and water rinsing, the product may be applied without dilution by brush or sponge swab. A subsequent water rinse prepares the treated surface for painting. The conversion coating is used to support weather protection of the treated aluminium surface and paint adhesion.
