The 3M™ Scotch-Brite™ Heavy Duty Hand Pad 7440 is a high-density, medium-grade aluminium oxide abrasive pad for demanding cleaning, deburring and finishing tasks.

Its durable non-woven construction is designed for aggressive surface preparation, including the removal of coatings, corrosion, contaminants, oxides, rust and grime. The pad helps produce a uniform surface finish and may be used by hand, with a hand-pad block, or with an in-line sander.
