3M™ Aluminum Foil Tape 425 is a silver aluminium foil tape with a dead-soft foil backing and pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. Manufacturer part number 7100053630.

The conformable foil backing is designed to follow curved and uneven surfaces, while providing heat and light reflectivity. The tape is thermally conductive and may be used for heat shielding, surface protection, seaming and sealing, moisture-barrier applications, and chemical masking during paint-stripping operations where the applicable maintenance process permits its use.
