CorrosionX® Aviation Formula is a corrosion-preventive compound and lubricant supplied in a 16 fl oz (473 ml) trigger-spray bottle for controlled manual application. It is formulated to displace moisture, penetrate, lubricate and leave a thin protective film on metal surfaces.

The manufacturer states that CorrosionX Aviation uses Polar Bonding and Fluid Thin Film Coating technology, contains no waxes or silicones, and is suitable for use on metals and electronic components. It is qualified by the manufacturer under MIL-PRF-81309H Type II and Type IV.
