NYCOLUBE® 7870 is a low-temperature instrument mineral lubricating oil for aircraft and helicopters. This product is supplied in a 20-litre pail under manufacturer part number NYCOLUBE 7870-20L.

The oil has a nominal viscosity of 10 cSt at 40°C and contains anti-oxidation and anti-corrosion additives. NYCO identifies it for use as a corrosion-preventive oil for instruments and electronic equipment, including automatic-pilot equipment, as well as for general lubrication of items such as pins and locks where the applicable maintenance data specifies this fluid.
