NYCO 65 Vaseline is a stiff, tacky technical petrolatum supplied in a 100 g tube. It is intended for aircraft and helicopter maintenance tasks requiring anti-seize protection, assistance with assembly and dismantling of parts and seals, temporary workshop rust prevention, and battery-terminal protection.

The product is a heavy mineral paraffin wax compound with a manufacturer-stated melting range of 45 to 60 °C. NYCO states that it is non-aggressive to metals and alloys.
