ROYCO® 555 is an advanced 5 cSt synthetic lubricating oil supplied in a single-quart container. It is qualified to DOD-PRF-85734A for synthetic helicopter transmission-system lubricant applications.

Formulated with a thermally stable polyol ester base and a balanced additive system, ROYCO® 555 is designed to provide high load-carrying capability, thermal stability and wear protection in demanding transmission and gearbox service. It may also be used as a turbine-engine oil only where a DOD-PRF-85734A synthetic fluid is specified or the use is approved by the applicable OEM.

Overview

Royco 555 is an advanced 5 centistoke synthetic lubricating oil for gas turbine engines and helicopter transmissions. The product is a blend of "hindered" polyol esters and a finely balanced modern technology additive package.

Application Uses: Royco 555 is for Higher power output engines that subsequently develop higher operating temperatures and loads. Please note that this oil should only be used in applications where synthetic oils have been specified or in systems expressly designed for synthetic lubricants.
