The SureFly SIM4N is a solid-state ignition module designed to replace a 4-cylinder non-impulse-coupled magneto on applicable Lycoming and Continental piston engines.

  • SureFly states that its SIM product range is designed for a 2,400-hour operating service time, with no scheduled interval inspections, rebuilds or overhauls stated by the manufacturer

Confirm engine, airframe, ignition-harness and tachometer requirements before installation. Installation and continued airworthiness must follow the applicable current SureFly engine and airframe STC data, SIM4N installation instructions (SF1002), overview drawing and associated maintenance documentation. Approval status and eligibility for a specific aircraft or engine installation must be verified by the installer or approved maintenance organisation.
