Sherlock Leak Detector Fluid, manufacturer part number TI-G-4, is a Type 1 leak-detection fluid supplied in a one-gallon container.

Formulated for bubble-based leak testing of pressurised connections, lines, cylinders and tanks. According to the supplied product information, the fluid is manufactured to MIL-PRF-25567E and is formulated without oils, fats, ammonia or other materials that could be flammable in contact with pure oxygen.

Apply the fluid to the suspected leak area and observe for bubble formation. Larger leaks produce bubbles immediately, while fine leaks may form a persistent foam indication.
