AeroShell Fluid 31 is a synthetic hydrocarbon aircraft hydraulic fluid formulated for improved fire resistance compared with conventional petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. It provides a high flash point, low-temperature fluidity, and oxidation and thermal stability, with additives for corrosion resistance, anti-wear performance and foam control.

Overview

Aeroshell Fluid 31 is a synthetic hydrocarbon hydraulic fluid with greatly improved fire resistance characteristics when compared with conventional petroleum products. This fluid contains a specially developed base stock that provides a relatively high flash point, excellent low temperature properties, and good oxidation and thermal stability. In addition, additives are incorporated to further enhance stability and lubricity.
