Mobilgrease™ 28 is a synthetic, wide-temperature multipurpose aviation grease supplied in a nominal 35 lb (5 gallon) pail. It combines a polyalphaolefin (PAO) base fluid with a clay thickener and has an NLGI 1.5 consistency.

Designed for lubrication points requiring low wear, friction reduction and dependable performance across a broad temperature range, Mobilgrease 28 is intended for plain and rolling bearings, splines, screws, worm gears and similar mechanisms. ExxonMobil states a recommended operating temperature range of -54 °C to 177 °C, subject to appropriate relubrication intervals and the applicable equipment maintenance data.
