Thermo-Tec 11042 Carbon Fiber Exhaust Wrap is a basalt-based exhaust insulating wrap with a carbon-fibre appearance. Supplied as a 50.8 mm wide × 15.2 m long roll, it is intended for wrapping exhaust components where a flexible, high-temperature insulation material is required.

Overview

Hi-Tech Carbon Fiber appearance and Titanium like strength, Carbon Fiber Exhaust Insulating Wrap is produced utilizing pulverized Lava rock called basalt. It is extremely pliable, resistant to discoloration and can withstand 2000 degrees Fahrenheit in direct continuous contact.

Wrapping headers and exhaust maintains hotter exhaust gases that exit the system faster through decreased density. Increased exhaust scavenging is produced, along with lower intake temperatures.
