Phillips 66 X/C® 20W-50 Aviation Oil is an ashless-dispersant, multigrade engine oil formulated for year-round use in aircraft opposed piston engines.

Its ashless-dispersant formulation is designed to help minimise sludge, varnish and deposit formation. Compared with single-grade oils, Phillips 66 identifies benefits including easier low-temperature starting, faster oil circulation, reduced warm-up time and high film strength under high-load and elevated-temperature operating conditions.

  • SAE 20W-50 multigrade aviation piston-engine oil
  • Recommended by the manufacturer for opposed piston engines
  • Suitable for engine break-in and subsequent operational use, in accordance with the applicable engine manufacturer instructions
  • Supplied in a single US-gallon container (approximately 3.8 L)
  • Manufacturer part number: 1045446

Phillips 66 states that X/C® Aviation Oil meets the requirements of Avco Lycoming Material Specification 301G, Pratt & Whitney Service Bulletin 1183 Rev. U, SAE J1899 and Teledyne Continental Material Specification MHS-24B. Always confirm the required oil grade and applicable maintenance data for the engine before use.

Product and safety documentation are available from Phillips 66 Lubricants.
