Mobilgrease™ 28 is a high-performance, wide-temperature synthetic aviation grease supplied in a single 4.4 lb can (approximately 2.0 kg).

Formulated with a polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic base fluid and an organo-clay, non-soap thickener, it has an NLGI 1.5 consistency. ExxonMobil describes Mobilgrease 28 as providing low-temperature pumpability and low starting and running torque, together with resistance to water washout, wear and high-temperature stress.

  • Recommended operating temperature range: -54 °C to +177 °C
  • Suitable for lubrication of plain and rolling bearings, splines, screws, worm gears and comparable mechanisms where the applicable maintenance data specifies this grease
  • Manufacturer-listed applications include landing wheel assemblies, control systems and actuators, screw jacks, servo devices, sealed-bearing motors, oscillating bearings and helicopter rotor bearings
  • Manufacturer-listed specifications: NATO G-395, MIL-PRF-81322G and MIL-PRF-24508B
