The Aviation Laboratories AL-3007-NO is an oil and oil-filter analysis kit identified for Allison 3007 engine applications. It supports condition-monitoring programmes by assessing wear metals in the oil and examining debris recovered from the oil filter.

Oil wear metals are determined by ICP analysis. The filter is rinsed and collected debris is analysed; where required, alloy composition is identified using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and EDXRF. Results report the amount, type, form and condition of particles, with identified alloys reported by AMS number.
