The Tanis Preheater, manufacturer part number TSP4CYL-2579-230, is a 230 V engine preheat kit specified for four-cylinder Rotax 912/914 series engines.

The multi-point system uses electrical resistance heating elements at the cylinder assemblies, a threaded heating element at the engine crankcase/oil-pump area, and a bonded pad element on the oil tank. This configuration is designed to preheat the engine and associated components while connected to an external power source.
