The Tempest AA472 Oil Filter Torque Wrench is a compact, preset wrench intended for controlled installation of oil filters with a 1 in (25.4 mm) hex.

Its box-end ratchet design is preset to 17 ft·lbf (approximately 23 N·m) and may be recalibrated as required. The wrench is designed for clockwise torque application only and is not intended for counter-clockwise filter removal.

Overview

The Tempest AA472 oil filter torque wrench is a great addition to any toolbox. Its 1" hex allows easy installation of all oil filters. The torque wrench also comes preset to 17 foot pounds and is easily recalibrated. Note: torque wrenches are only designed to torque in CW direction. Not designed to remove (CCW).
