The Airflow Systems X-Series 2008X is a 17-row oil cooler intended for experimental aircraft installations. Developed using computer modelling and flight testing, the X-Series design is intended to reduce oil temperatures without increasing cooler size or oil-pressure drop.

Airflow Systems describes the X-Series as using an air-side fin design intended to provide high thermal performance with minimal drag. The 2008X is listed for Lycoming O-360K, IO-360 and IO-540 engine applications; selection should be confirmed against the applicable installation, airflow arrangement and oil-cooling requirements.
