AeroShell Grease 5 is a high-temperature aviation grease formulated with a mineral-oil base and clay/Microgel thickener. It combines load-carrying capability with resistance to water, oxidation and corrosion.

It is intended for lubrication duties specified in applicable maintenance data, including aircraft wheel bearings and aircraft or engine accessories operating at relatively high speeds and temperatures. Typical examples identified by the manufacturer include magnetos, generators, starters and piston-aircraft propellers.
