The Reiff HotStrip Oil Sump Heater, manufacturer part number HSS, is an electric engine-oil preheat system designed for bonding to a suitable flat oil-sump surface. The system uses two durable aluminium heating elements to apply heat directly to the sump.

  • Total heating output: 200 W, using two 100 W heating elements
  • Aluminium HotStrip elements with an approximate individual size of 102 × 38 × 3 mm
  • Thermostat-controlled system; the manufacturer states an oil-temperature limit of 88 °C
  • Suitable for use as a standalone oil-sump heater or as part of selected Reiff preheat-system configurations, subject to the applicable installation instructions
