The Tempest TAF-L is an engine-mounted oil filter adapter designed to convert the engine oil-screen arrangement to a spin-on oil filter installation. The adapter mounts at the oil cooler pad on the left, aft side of the engine case.

Manufacturer part number: TAF-L.

The TAF-L is identified by the manufacturer for Continental C-75, C-85, C-90 and O-200 series engines. It is supplied as an adapter assembly with a Tempest AA48108-2 spin-on oil filter.

  • Designed for use with the oil-screen conversion arrangement described in the applicable installation instructions
