Thermo-Tec Cool-It Mat is a heat- and noise-control insulation mat for applications where heat transfer and sound penetration need to be reduced. Manufacturer part number: 14100.
The mat uses resin-bonded, dual-density silica insulation between a reflective Mylar facing and a foil facing. It can be trimmed to suit the installation and may be secured using the supplied push-in fasteners or a suitable weather-strip adhesive.
- Nominal sheet size: 610 x 1,220 mm
- Approximate thickness: 1.6 mm compressed; expands to approximately 6 mm
- Stated insulation temperature range: up to 204 °C
- Stated foil temperature range: approximately 649 to 816 °C
- Stated noise reduction: 3–5 dB
Suitable for maintenance and fabrication requirements where a cut-to-size thermal and acoustic barrier material is needed. Confirm material suitability, installation method and any applicable airworthiness requirements before use.
