The B&C SilverFlite SF401 is a compact 40 A belt-drive alternator intended for experimental and homebuilt aircraft applications. It provides 40 A output at cruise RPM and incorporates integral voltage regulation together with B&C Dynamic Over-Voltage Protection.

Designed to simplify installation, the SF401 uses a two-wire connection arrangement for alternator output and control/enable circuits. It features sealed ball bearings, rotor balance and three integrated mounting attachment points for stable installation.
