Manufactured from a one-piece carbon-steel forging and CNC machined, the disc uses APS’s proprietary BlackSteel heat-treatment process. The process transforms the surface of the steel rather than applying a wearable coating, providing the characteristic black finish and high resistance to corrosion and oxidation in demanding brake-service conditions.
