The Janitrol Aero 10E21-4(IS) is a new I-Series aircraft cabin heater, identified as model I-3500. It is designed as a self-contained cabin-heating assembly for use in accordance with the applicable approved aircraft installation and maintenance data.

The I-Series design incorporates an Inconel combustion tube, a material selected for performance in high-temperature operating conditions. The heater also uses a replaceable spark plug with an integral ground electrode to support serviceability.
