The B&C Specialty Products LR3E-14 is a 14 V alternator controller/regulator for experimental aircraft electrical systems. It combines linear voltage regulation, solid-state crowbar over-voltage protection, and low-voltage monitoring/warning functions in one compact unit.

The linear-regulator design is intended to minimise audio and radio noise associated with alternator regulation. The LR3E-14 is specified for externally regulated alternators using Type B circuitry, where one field lead is connected directly to ground.
