The B&C Specialty Products BC315-100-1 is a new 12 V lightweight starter for Lycoming engine installations. This BC315 configuration is specified for a standard-rotation, 122-tooth ring gear with 10/12 diametral pitch.

B&C identifies the BC315 series as its original lightweight starter design. The unit incorporates sealed heavy-duty ball bearings, all-metal gears, electro-mechanical pinion actuation and a series-wound motor.
