The Sky-Tec STS-S12 is a 12 V, intermittent-duty starter solenoid/contactor for aircraft electrical starter circuits. It is identified by manufacturer part number STS-S12.

Designed with a single coil terminal, the unit is activated by positive voltage at the S terminal and is grounded through its mounting. It features silver contacts, a high-current coil and strong return spring to support rapid contact opening and help minimise arcing. The all-metal case provides a robust construction for the engine electrical environment.
