Cessna 172 Tail Slide

The Middle Fork Mods Cessna Tail Slide 172 Series is an aluminium tail-slide assembly designed to slide over the surface and gently lift the tail during a tail-strike event. Its attachment arrangement uses the original tail tie-down location and the forward bulkhead, while the rear section cradles the aft bulkhead.

Supplied epoxy-primed for finishing to match the aircraft. The kit includes the tail slide, mounting hardware, paint stencils, and manufacturer-supplied approval and continued-airworthiness documentation.
