Shock Cord 1380HD is an endless elastic shock cord ring intended for shock-mounting applications, including landing-gear installations where specified by the applicable aircraft documentation.

The ring is constructed from multiple strands of natural rubber wound into a circular skein and enclosed in a high-grade braided yarn cover. It is stated to be manufactured to MIL-C-5651B, Type II.
