3M™ Adhesion Promoter 86A is a transparent liquid primer formulated to enhance initial adhesion for compatible 3M™ Polyurethane Protective Tapes, protective boots and other acrylic adhesive applications in demanding bonding situations.

Supplied in a 16 oz (1 pint / 473 mL) can, it is intended for use on prepared, clean and dry surfaces. 3M identifies polyurethane paint, epoxy primers and epoxy composites as surface types for which this promoter can assist adhesion.
