McFarlane Aviation Vernier-Assist™ throttle control, manufacturer part number MCVA35-944046-7-3.

This throttle control combines push-pull coarse adjustment with fine vernier adjustment. Coarse changes are made by pushing or pulling the knob; fine adjustments are made by rotating it. McFarlane’s Vernier-Assist design operates through friction and patented roller action, without threaded engagement or locking balls/pins.

  • Friction lock holds the selected throttle position and can be overridden when required
