The McFarlane Aviation MC0713041-1BT is a black, turn-to-lock cowl flap control designed for specified early Cessna 180-series aircraft. It uses a turn-to-lock operating arrangement: turn the handle counter-clockwise to adjust the push-pull control, then turn clockwise to hold the selected position.

The control features a hardened stainless-steel housing intended to maintain locking strength, together with dual solid-wire ends. This version is supplied with a black turn-to-lock knob.
