SCAT-5 flexible high-temperature ducting supplied in a 13 ft (approximately 4 m) length, with a nominal 1¼ in (approximately 32 mm) diameter.

The ducting is described as a flexible hose constructed with high-temperature silicone-coated fibreglass reinforcement and a visible internal steel-wire support. Its flexible construction is intended for hot-air, ventilation, cooling and fume-extraction ducting installations where an appropriate high-temperature flexible hose is required.
