Avlab Fuel Microbial Bug-Detector Kit

The Avlab Fuel Microbial Bug-Detector Kit is a field test kit for screening microbial contamination in jet and diesel fuel. It is intended to support fuel-quality monitoring by providing a semi-quantitative indication of bacteria and fungal contamination.

A measured fuel sample is introduced into the supplied sterile test bottle and, after the specified test period, the resulting colour change is compared with the Bug Test colour chart. This approach provides an alternative to laboratory plate-count techniques for field evaluation.
