The Aerostar Engine Cowl Anti-Chafing Liner kit, manufacturer part number M1036-3, is intended to protect the interior surface of the upper engine cowl in areas contacting engine airframe seals.

The kit uses AeroLas-White, a flexible, self-lubricating polymer described as tough and abrasion resistant. It provides a protective wear surface to help reduce chafing of the aluminium upper engine cowl.

  • Manufacturer part number: M1036-3
  • Kit contents: 4 anti-chafing liners
  • Material: AeroLas-White polymer
  • Supplied liners are approximately sized; minor trimming may be required during installation.
  • Designed to be bonded in place with 3M DP420 two-part epoxy; adhesive is not included.
