McFarlane Aviation Vernier-Assist™ throttle control assembly, P/N MCVA565-549-013. This FAA-PMA approved throttle control combines push-pull coarse adjustment with rotary fine adjustment for controlled engine-power setting.

The patented Vernier-Assist™ mechanism operates by friction rather than a threaded positive-lock arrangement. Push or pull the knob for coarse movement; rotate the knob for fine adjustment. A friction lock holds the selected position and may be overridden when required.
