McFarlane Vernier-Assist™ throttle control assembly, part number MCVA9863053-10. This FAA-PMA approved control combines smooth friction control with vernier-style fine adjustment for precise throttle setting.

The patented Vernier-Assist mechanism uses friction rather than a threaded positive-lock arrangement. Make coarse throttle adjustments by pushing or pulling the knob, then rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise for fine adjustment. The control incorporates a friction lock to help retain the selected position while allowing manual override when required.
