MCVAC299505-0205 is a McFarlane Vernier-Assist™ throttle control for aircraft engine power control applications.

The Vernier-Assist design provides normal coarse adjustment by pushing or pulling the control knob, with fine adjustment by rotating it. McFarlane describes the mechanism as a friction-operated design without threaded locking engagement, intended to provide smooth and precise throttle adjustment.
