The MCVA12693-04 is a McFarlane Vernier-Assist™ throttle control designed to provide precise engine power adjustment while retaining normal push-pull control operation.

The Vernier-Assist mechanism uses friction-based control rather than threaded engagement or locking balls. Fine adjustment is made by rotating the knob, while coarse movement is made by pushing or pulling the control. A friction lock helps retain the selected setting and may be overridden when required.
