The Economy Manual Inflatable Door Seal is a manually operated, door-mounted inflatable seal for Piper PA-24, PA-30 and PA-39 aircraft. The pilot inflates the seal using the integrated pressure bulb.

Manufactured as part number 3970-9, this door-seal assembly uses a vulcanised silicone-rubber compound designed to conform when inflated. An inflatable seal can help create a close-fitting door interface and may help reduce water ingress, draughts and cabin noise when correctly installed.
