Airforms complete engine baffle kit, part number C172M-7476BRBL, supplied in bare aluminium with blue standard baffle seals pre-installed. The kit is listed by McFarlane Aviation as an Airforms product and is intended for the eligible Cessna 172M and F172M aircraft detailed below when equipped with a Lycoming O-320-E2D engine.

  • 6061-T6 aluminium baffle components
  • Blue high-temperature, fibreglass-reinforced silicone seals installed
  • Stainless-steel brackets where required
  • Hard-rivet construction and seal backing plates
  • Listed by McFarlane as a kit with approved contents

Published eligibility: Cessna 172M serial numbers 17261899 through 17267584, and F172M serial numbers F17201035 through F17201514, when fitted with the Lycoming O-320-E2D engine. Verify aircraft serial number, installed configuration and applicable approval requirements before installation.

Mounting hardware, including nuts, bolts, screws, washers, retaining springs and Tinnerman clips, is not included. Where non-standard starters, alternators, exhaust systems or other engine modifications are installed, adjustment may be required during installation.
