The McFarlane Aviation VGR-CN-KT is a valve guide cleaning reamer kit intended for cleaning carbon deposits from Continental engine exhaust valve guides. Each reamer uses a pilot sized to the valve stem, helping the cutter start straight and follow the valve stem path through the guide during cleaning.

The reamers feature spiral flutes and are manufactured from precision-ground high-speed tool steel. McFarlane specifies this kit for cleaning carbon build-up only; it must not be used for finish reaming new valve guides.
