McFarlane Aviation CCH-KT-11 is a carburettor heat repair kit for specified Cessna A185E airbox installations. The kit uses McFarlane’s elastomer bearing design in place of the original needle bearing arrangement.

The elastomer bearing is designed to provide a larger vibration-transfer contact area between the carburettor heat box and butterfly shaft, helping to reduce localised metal erosion associated with micro-movement. McFarlane states that the design absorbs shaft and butterfly vibration and is intended as a direct replacement for the original parts.
