The Tanis Aircraft Products TA3083-1 is a 115 V Heli-Preheat Kit identified for the Bell 407 with RR250-C47B engine configuration. It is designed to provide aircraft preheat using electrical resistance heating elements.

The system uses thin heating pads shaped for applicable engine, fuel-control, gearbox and oil-tank areas. Power is routed through a dedicated wiring assembly with circuit overload protection and a power-indicator light. The system is self-regulating by design.
