McFarlane Control Choke Dual 8Foot Round Red MCC101D096-RRC

McFarlane Aviation MCC101D096-RRC is a non-locking dual choke control with a nominal 2.4 m conduit length and a round red knob engraved “Choke”. It is intended by the manufacturer for dual-carburettor Rotax 912/914 series engine choke installations.

The dual-control design provides a tidy installation without a separate splitter box. An internal elastomer seal adds vibration damping and light operating resistance; where the choke installation uses a return spring, the control returns to the closed position when released.

• Nominal conduit length: 2.4 m, measured from the panel fitting to the end of the conduit
• Minimum stroke: 89 mm
• Conduit outside diameter: approximately 4.8 mm
• Inner wire: approximately 1.6 mm, 7 × 7 stainless-steel construction
• Maximum pull working load: approximately 110 N; not designed for push loads
• Operating temperature range: approximately −54 °C to +232 °C
• 7/16-20 UNF panel mounting thread
• Supplied with two adjustable barrel stops for attachment to the carburettor choke arms

The conduit may be trimmed to suit the installation; the control wires extend at least 76 mm beyond the conduit. This is a non-locking control and is not EASA/FAA approved. It must not be used for flight controls or flight-control trim tabs.
