The 4100-188-50 is a spherical metal firewall fitting for composite firewall installations. This configuration has a 4.8 mm (0.188 in) ball hole and a 12.7 mm (0.500 in) body reach.

The 4100 series uses a 25.4 mm steel ball retained by a 4130 steel pressure plate, providing a swivel angle of up to 50° from straight. The fitting is designed to pass through a single firewall hole and is retained with a steel nut and stainless-steel washer.
